These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of brighterstartravel.com and the travel planning services provided by Brighter Star Travel ("we," "our," "us"). By engaging our services you agree to these Terms.
1. Travel Planning Services
Brighter Star Travel acts as an independent travel advisor and intermediary. We plan, recommend, and book travel arrangements through third-party suppliers including airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, transportation providers, and insurance companies.
2. Supplier Responsibility Disclaimer
All bookings are subject to the terms, conditions, and policies of the individual travel suppliers. Brighter Star Travel is not liable for the acts, errors, omissions, representations, warranties, breaches, or negligence of any supplier, or for any personal injury, death, property damage, or other losses arising from supplier services.
3. Client Responsibilities
You are responsible for reviewing and confirming all booking details, including names, dates, destinations, and traveler information. You agree to provide accurate information and to comply with all supplier rules and applicable laws.
4. Booking Policies
Bookings are confirmed only after payment of the required deposit or full payment, and only after written confirmation has been issued. All prices are subject to change until a booking is fully confirmed and paid.
5. Cancellation Policies
Cancellation and change policies vary by supplier and trip type. Planning fees paid to Brighter Star Travel are non-refundable once work has begun. We strongly recommend travel insurance for every trip.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Brighter Star Travel's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the planning fees you paid to us for the affected trip. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
7. Travel Documentation Requirements
You are responsible for obtaining and carrying all required travel documents, including passports, visas, health certifications, and identification. We may provide general guidance, but document requirements are ultimately the traveler's responsibility.
8. Pricing and Quote Accuracy
Quotes are based on availability and pricing at the time of preparation and may change before booking. Currency fluctuations, taxes, fuel surcharges, and supplier fees may also affect final pricing.
9. Sports Travel Package Disclosures
Sports travel packages may include hotel blocks, transportation, group airfare, tickets, and meal arrangements. Event schedules, ticket allocations, and tournament logistics are controlled by event organizers and may change without notice. Brighter Star Travel is not responsible for event cancellations or schedule changes.
10. Group Travel Policies
Group bookings are subject to group contracts that may require non-refundable deposits, minimum participation, rooming lists by a defined deadline, and attrition penalties. The designated group leader is responsible for communicating deadlines and collecting traveler information.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Northern California.
